This program highlights the businesses, people, and places that make the Finger Lakes region unique, as chosen by the local community. Known for its stunning landscapes, glacial lakes, and world-renowned vineyards, the Finger Lakes is a hub for outdoor adventure and fine wine, complemented by its rich history, charming towns, and vibrant cultural scene.

In 2024, over 118,000 votes were cast by the community, an overwhelming response which reflects the pride residents have for their local businesses and the region itself.
FLX Finest Promotions
FLX Finest has strong support from all seven FLX Local Media stations. Nominations and voting are driven by recorded promotional commercials and live support on all seven stations. Additional outdoor advertising and paid/organic social media promotion accompanies the on-air promotion.
Promotion will begin prior to nominations, during nominations, prior to voting, during voting, prior to results and during our big reveal of the 2025 winners.
FLX Local Media invests over $300,000 in on-air support, social media, and transit advertising promoting FLX Finest, driving participation and showcasing results while ensuring success for local businesses in our community.
How does it work?
During the nomination period, we invite our audience to nominate outstanding establishments and professionals in the FLX region and the surrounding areas. Once our nominations are taken, we
will move them to a ballot for official voting. All nominations and voting will be done online at www.voteflxfinest.com.
